Fantastic service from Custom Electrical. I needed a wall charger for an EV installed. They were quick to respond to my original request, were able to quote the work from photos that I took, and were clear with their costs. Communication leading up to installation were great, including morning-of phone call to let me know they were on the way. The electrician discussed the pros/cons of the various mount points I was considering, we decided on one and the work was completed within a couple of hours. The electrician had even pre-scheduled the inspection, so no waiting around for an inspector a few days after install!

I am glad I called these guys. Needed a transfer switch installed so we can use a generator to power the house in an outage. Daniel came out and did an absolutely fantastic job, I couldn't be happier. Daniel and assistant were punctual, professional, and did things right. It's worth using a licensed contractor for jobs like these. We tested out the new generator and it powers everything with PLENTY left. Very happy, will use them again if needed, 5 stars easy

It's in the 90°'s today and the electricity in the 2 rooms just went out. We were melting. I called 2 other places to see if anyone was available. First place never called back and the second place said they're booked until a week out. I called Custom Electrical, realizing I used their services before. Maria answered and was very helpful in providing details and pricing. We had 2 of the most amazing electricians (Travis & Zach) showed up in 30 min, explained what was wrong and what they were doing. Also, provided us with some great advice on managing this heat in the house. They were genuine and wanted to help us. You have saved this family from a heat wave! Thank you!

They installed a swim spa's electrical. These guys were a pleasure to have around. They are kind and courteous technicians that are making sure everything is not only to electrical code, but the best it can be done in my opinion. I will never call another electrical contractor for my home now that I found these guys! The price was competitive as well after 3 quotes. Try Custom Electrical, you will not be disappointed.

Custom Electrical Services were the Electrician of choice for us during the recent construction of our DADU (Detached ADU" in Seattle. From project initiation to completion the experience was terrific. Jay came and met with us, reviewed the project plans and listened to the requests we had for the project. Bid was provided quickly and was very competitive. Next phase transitioned to the project coordinators and the next steps to getting the project underway were clearly communicated. Deposit and payment methods were easy and transparent to work with. The Electrician team arrived per the agreed schedule and were extremely professional and provided top quality work, attention to detail in a timely manner. All inspections passed 1st time. The entire team at Custom also helped navigate the long road of new service application/install from Seattle City Light, which was a huge help. Look forward to the opportunity to work with Custom in the future and won't hesitate to refer. Thank you!

This is my second experience with Custom Electrical Services. I have been extremely happy with their services both times. The first time was when I had them install a Tesla charger. They did an outstanding job, on time and below their original bid. The electrical inspector who later inspected the work told me "whoever installed this charger knew what he was doing! They did everything right." A few days ago, I called them again because I lost power in part of my garage. Again, they came the very next day, investigated the problem and fixed it. The young electrician who came (John) was courteous, thorough, friendly and professional. I have nothing but great things to say about this company and their staff. Keep up the good work!

During the pandemic I have worked with several different contractors (electrical and non-electrical) for various house remodeling projects. I can hands down say that my project with Custom was the best experience out of everyone. These are good people with good work. It was hassle-free and everyone (office staff and electricians) were very communitive and easy to get ahold of throughout the process. Today the state inspector came by and approved of everything. He had good things to say about Custom's work as well.Timeline: Placed downpayment, electricians were out about 2 weeks later, the electrician and apprentice did 2 days of work, the electricity was only shut off for a few hours on the first day, state inspector came out a couple of weeks after that. Expect that the state inspector scheduling may be a bit challenging due to increased home renovation projects in the Seattle area, but that is out of Custom's control.My project included:- Permits and utility fees. Custom took care of all administrative filings and communication with PSE and WA LnI.- 200am panel replacement w/surge protection- Upgrade main grounding/bonding system. Including a bonding to my water main, which I did not previously have.- 30amp 240v outlet for RV. I chose to have the conduit run about 12 feet along the outside of the house due to things blocking it on the other side.- 50amp generator interlockPics below. Hope to use them again in the future.

Loved the work they put in, was able to install a EV charger outlet (a NEMA 14-50). Came out quickly, and the work looks really nice, glad to have the new circuit. Price was even slightly under the quoted price for the work, which was nice!

I have had 2 wonderful experiences with Custom this year. We are working on site preparation for a large shop and Joe came in for a free estimate and planned out the job. They arrived on time and were prepared. It was a job that took two days and all 4 employees were polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Joe has been a great communicator. And his crew mirrors his professionalismThey installed a breaker in my panel, ran line under the house, and then installed the new outdoor panel and 2 20-amp outlets to the back of the lot where the shop will be built. They had all of the tools needed, kept the indoor spaces clean, wore masks indoors, and were nice to my crazy dog. Throughout the work I was impressed with Joe's crew and how fast and neat they worked. on site, Kevin kept me updated as he progressed and they called when on their way to confirm arrival on Day 2.I will use them again in the future and definitely trust my electrical needs to them. Side note, I also appreciate the way they handle the bidding process with a detailed explanation by email and then a simple invoice process on line. Their bid beat two other companies and I believe their reputation is better too based on feedback in the neighborhood.

We bought a new stove and our house needed an outlet installed because the old stove had been hard wired when it had originally installed. The people at Custom Electrical Services were very accommodating and adjusted their schedules so we could have the stove installed on the same day. Ryan was very thorough and did a great job.

My wife is getting an EV car and we wanted to install an outlet for the car charger. It is 240v with at least 50 amps. One business I called came out, gave a bid to which I agreed but then never scheduled because they said they did not have the part. I then contacted other electricians but they all wanted to see the site and many wanted a fee just to see the site. When I called Custom Electrical Services it was clear from the beginning they knew more than the others to which I had talked. First, they were the only ones to notify me that there needed to be a permit, but they would take care of it. Second, they have extensive experience with installing car chargers. Third, they were able to give me a price by me just sending a picture of the Electrical Panel. Fourth, with my kind of car charger, they recommended wiring directly to the charger which means I could have a 60 Amp circuit which then gives 48 AMPS for actual charging. It was also less expensive to wire directly to the charger than to install a plug. They came in the time frame they set up. They did not require an upfront payment, but billed me by email. They provided paperwork so that I did not have to pay sales tax as there is a sales tax exemption in the State of Washington for this type of work. The electricians were extremely knowledgeable and made sure prior to leaving that I had the charger connected to my wifi and my phone. I could not be more pleased.

Had a EV charger for a NEMA 14-50 outlet and it was installed in a good timely manner. Prices were good compared to other quotes I had or never received back from. Custom was really the only company that felt like they had a good running business in terms of communication, quoting, and field availability.Electrician came and installed it in under an hour and he also gave me good tips and pointers for future projects I had in mind that needed for electrical work. Inspection came a few days later and was easily passed. Would recommend in the future.

We had an ev charger installed in our garage. Dawson and all of the staff were great to work with. Install was quick, with no mess left behind. They were also much more affordable than the other electricians that I reached out to. I will definitely use Custom Electrical in the future and recommend to anyone in need!

Billy was fantastic. Though we never met in person, he communicated well, did the job quickly and efficiently, was reliable and friendly. We even had a chat about motorcycles since he saw mine in my garage. He went over with me the quote as detailed as satisfied me, he gave me a quick estimate for another project and promised to send me a more detailed quote (which he did the same day!), and his work made not impact or mess in my garage. I will definitely use Custom Electrical Services and will be asking for Billy if he is available! Good price as well!

Chad checked out the work I needed done first, gave me an estimate and finished the job in a timely manner. He was also very helpful explaining several options I had for a few other electrical projects I would like done. I would recommend Chad and Custom Electric anytime. One of the things I value the most when hiring contractors is responsiveness and good communication and they absolutely get 5 stars in that regard. From the scheduling call to the installation work, everything went smoothly and on time. Very courteous staff with great attitude. I had many questions in regards to my installation as my setup is non standard and they were very patient with me, explained all the options and the pros and cons and armed me with all the information I needed to make the right decision. I was communicating with multiple possible contractors for this particular piece of work and Custom Electrical made me really feel like they care about my time and doing the job right and I am very glad I went with them.

Custom Electrical removed old Knob and Tube and rewired our home. Their bid was very competitive and the team was great to work with. The job completion was delayed by a few weeks but we are happy with the work and appreciated the flexibility on project scope, pricing, and their responsiveness. Would definitely use Custom again!

Hired Custom Electrical Services to add several outlets (both 120 and 220) to my garage that had very limited outlets. Jeff their electrician came out and gave me a quote and was willing to work with me on my budget.I was very happy with the work done, Jeff was very communicative throughout the entire process even with some parts backordered, kept me up to date throughout the entire process.Would definitely use Custom Electrical systems again and high recommend them for anyone looking for quality electrical work done.

Custom Electrical was able to work with me to get a quote without ever coming out and just used a picture of my panel and panel area. They installed a 240V NEMA 10-50 outlet for my EV that will be here in a couple months. Installer was professional and installed the new circuit in a hour or so total. Final cost was within $20 of original quote and only due to the cost of the permit being more than they originally quoted for. Not their fault. Overall, I am very happy.

This was the second time I used Custom Electrical Services and once again, they did a fantastic job.First job was a few years ago, which involved adding a new sub-panel and wiring up an entire 570sq ft of unfinished basement that we were finishing. The job was done quickly and very professionally.The job today involved installing a new Microwave/Oven combo, which the electrical wire was too short to reach the junction box. Don came to our rescue quickly, came up with a creative way to make the wire reach the junction box, and gave me a quick lesson as to how electric panels worked when I was asking about things.I will definitely go with Custom Electrical Services again.

I would highly recommend Custom Electrical Services LLC based on the recent work they just completed. We had some issues with a tripped breaker that would not reset and some poor previous electrical work on the installation of a generator & new electrical panel completed by a contractor a few years back during a remodel. Jeff came out, outlined a number of options and costs to address the immediate problem as well as long term solution. We ended doing all the work as we wanted to resolve our issues at once. They completed the work professionally and quickly. Much appreciated! We will use them again if we ever need an electrician in the future.

My wife decided to remodel the house one day. So long story short she ordered a chandelier. Now I could of installed it if I had the time but my life has become rather hectic. Great reviews for this company, and happy to add another positive review! When I submitted for a quote, Kristen was super fast and responsive to inquire about more details and then the office followed up quickly with an estimate. They seemed more professional and responsive than the other companies who provided information, which made us select them. Their quote was in the same range as the other electricians too. When Don came out to check out the site, he was thorough and talked through the various options to install an EV charger in a detached garage. We didn't have an electrical panel in the garage, which is required for code with a 240v outlet, so that increased the pricing and the work. Don tried to think of the best possible way to run conduit and install a box in the garage as economical and visually appealing as possible. We really appreciated this care.Alex and team came out and did the installation and then returned to adjust a few things, which needed much more time than was estimated. Alex kept a super positive attitude and was eager to ensure that we were happy with the work. We also interacted with Josh, who was very helpful and accommodating and wanted to make sure that we were very satisfied customers. And as an additional follow up, Don returned on site to meet the electrical inspector and to additionally talk with us to again, confirm we were happy with the work. We received alot of attentiveness and time for a more complicated installation and wiring for an electrical vehicle.We will absolutely call Custom Electrical for future electrical work. They are a high quality, respectful organization with professionals who are committed to earning customer loyalty. Can't get much better than that!
